Finally Paying Attention is made by Self-Healer Source LLC ("we," "us"). This page says what we collect, why, who touches it, and how to have it erased. It is short because we collect very little.
The short version
- We collect only what the app needs to run your week.
- We never sell your information. We never share it with advertisers. There are no ad trackers on this site or in the app.
- What you tap about your body and your feelings is for you. We use it to show you your own patterns, and for nothing else.
- You can ask us to erase everything at any time: support@finallypayingattention.com.
What we collect when you visit this site
The sales page keeps anonymous notes about how the page is used: that someone arrived, which body word was tapped, whether a video played. These notes carry no name, no ID, and no cookie. We cannot connect them to you.
Our web host, Bluehost, keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. We do not copy those into our own records.
What we collect when you buy
Checkout is run by Stripe, through Link, who is the seller of record. Stripe collects your payment details. We never see or store your card.
Stripe tells us that you paid, your email address, and the amount. We keep that as a purchase record, and we create your personal link, which is your key to the app.
Your email address is added to our mailing list at MailerLite so we can send your welcome email with your link. We may also write to you now and then about the app and Linda Villines' related work. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your access to the app.
What we collect inside the app
- Your time zone and the hours you choose for your check-ins, so they arrive inside your day.
- Your check-in answers: where your body is tense or at ease, what you are feeling, where you are, who you are with, what you are doing, and any short words you write in.
- If you allow notifications, the technical details your phone gives us so we can send them. Notifications travel through your phone maker's notification service (Apple, Google, or Mozilla).
- Notes about how the app is used, such as a video being opened, so we can see where something is not working.
Your answers describe your body and your feelings, so we treat them as sensitive. We ask for your clear yes before your week begins, and we use them only to show you your own patterns. Nobody else sees them. We do not combine them with anyone else's in a way that could identify you.
One cookie
The app uses one cookie, named fpa_t. It is how the app recognizes you without asking you to make an account or a password. It lasts a little over a year. It is necessary for the app to work, it is not used for advertising, and it follows you nowhere else on the internet.
The sales page sets no cookies.
Who helps us run this
- Stripe and Link: payment, tax, receipts, payment support.
- MailerLite: email.
- Bluehost: hosting, in the United States.
- Apple, Google, or Mozilla: delivering notifications to your phone.
Each receives only what its job needs. None of them receives your check-in answers, except that those answers are stored on our Bluehost server.
Where your information lives
On our server in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your information is transferred to and kept in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Your app information stays for as long as you use the app, so that you can return to your weeks. Ask us and we erase it.
- Purchase records are kept for seven years because tax law requires it. When you ask us to erase your information, we remove your email and your link from the purchase record and keep only the sale itself.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or erase it. Write to support@finallypayingattention.com from the email address you bought with. We answer within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another place with similar law, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on these grounds: our agreement with you (to deliver the app you bought), your consent (for your check-in answers and for notifications), our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure (the anonymous page notes and server logs), and legal obligation (tax records).
You can also ask Link to delete the information Stripe holds about your purchase. When you do, Stripe tells us, and we erase what we hold as well.
If you are in California: we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not track you across other websites, so there is nothing for a "Do Not Track" signal to switch off.
Children
The app is for adults. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will change the date at the top and tell buyers by email.
